AP: PM Modi to participate at international Yoga Day to be held in AP

Amaravati, May 2 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Friday that this year’s International Day of Yoga (21st June) marking the 10th edition would be celebrated in Andhra Pradesh and he would also attend it.

Addressing a huge public meeting after laying the foundation stone, dedicated to the nation multiple development projects worth over Rs 58,000 crore in Amaravati, here, the Prime Minister urged the people to undertake more activities on Yoga in the next 50 days and set a world record.
He announced that he would participate in the International Yoga Day to be held in Visakhapatnam. Earlier, Chief Minister of AP Chandrababu Naidu invited the Prime Minister to participate in the International Yoga Day in Visakhapatnam.

Remarking that Andhra Pradesh neither has shortage of dreamers nor achievers, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that the state is on the right path and has picked up the right speed for growth.

The Governor of Andhra Pradesh Syed Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu, Union Cabinet Ministers were present among other dignitaries at the event.
