AP: Three teenage boys feared drowned in Godavari

Bhimavaram, May 27 (UNI) The drowning of eight youths in the river Godavari at Mummidivaram on Monday is afresh, and the bodies are yet to be fished from the river Godavari, in a similar tragic incident, three teenage boys feared drowned in the river Godavari at Narullanka village of P Gannavaram mandal on Tuesday.



SI Shiva Krishna told the media that five boys entered the river Godavari to have a bath. They went into the river, slipped, and drowned. The drowned boys were identified as Sanaboina Raviteja (12), Nithipudi Pal Kumar (15) Keta Praveen (15). However, two boys swam ashore safely. The clothes and footwear of the boys were found on the shore.



Tahsildar Pallavi, SI Shiva Krishna rushed to the place and launched a massive search operation in the river for the three boys.
