AP: Ultraviolette opens first UV Space Station in Guntur

Guntur, Sept 16 (UNI) Electric motorcycle maker Ultraviolette Automotive on Wednesday announced the launch of its new UV Space Station in Guntur, expanding its retail presence in Andhra Pradesh.
The experience centre, established in partnership with dealer M/s RR Mobility, will offer customers access to Ultraviolette's performance motorcycles, including the X-47 Crossover and F77s.
The facility will provide test rides, sales consultations, product demonstrations, service support, spare parts and motorcycle accessories, the company said in a release here.
The X-47 Crossover and F77s are powered by a powertrain delivering 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 2.8 seconds, according to the company.
The motorcycles are equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery pack and offer an IDC-certified range of up to 323 km on a single charge.
Ultraviolette Co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam said Guntur was a rapidly growing city with improving infrastructure and connectivity, and the new centre would bring the company's products and technology closer to riders in the region.
The X-47 Crossover features a 5-inch TFT display, three riding modes, long-travel suspension and radial all-terrain tyres. The company said it was the first electric motorcycle in its segment to offer radar as standard.
The motorcycle is equipped with a 77 GHz rear radar supporting blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, overtake alerts and rear-collision warnings. It also features an integrated dashcam and an air-cooled onboard charger developed in-house, the company said.
Ultraviolette recently announced its BIGGA (Big Global Ambition) Factory in Hosur in Karnataka to expand production capacity and support its product portfolio and international expansion plans.
The company has also introduced Battery Flex (BaaS), under which customers can purchase the X-47 starting at Rs 1.49 lakh, with battery subscriptions starting at Rs 2,323 per month.
