AP: YSRCP stir against atrocities on women

Kakinada, June 10 (UNI) In pursuance of the call given by the YSRCP state women’s cell, a rally was taken out here on Tuesday protesting against the increased atrocities on women and children.
State party women’s cell vice president Jammalamadaka Nagamani led the rally.
Former MP Vanga Geeta Viswanath, district women’s cell president Vardineedi Sujatha, KUDA former chairman and state general secretary Chandra Kala Deepti, former Mayor Sunkara Siva Prasanna, city president Pasupuleti Venkatalakshmi participated.
The rally converged into a public meeting at Ambedkar statue near Indrapalem junction.
Jammalamadaka Nagamani and other leaders have blamed the present alliance government for the failure of the law and order in the state.
They alleged that atrocities against women and children became the order of the day.
Later, they presented a memorandum to the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar.
