Apollo Tyres launches 'Aspire 5', eyes global market

Kochi, June 26 (UNI) Apollo Tyres Ltd, a leading tyre maker and a trusted partner to leading global automakers, launched its newest Ultra-High Performance (UHP) tyre, Apollo Aspire 5, positioned at ‘adventure meeting comfort’.
This tyre has been developed and is being manufactured in India, for India and the world, a release said.
Driven by the rapid rise in the luxury car segment, India’s UHP tyre market – 17-inch and above rim size with W/Y speed rating – is undergoing a significant transformation.
Consumers are no longer upgrading just their vehicles — they’re upgrading their expectations around silent and comfortable tyres.
Available in a wide range, from 17 to 20 inches, to fit the majority of luxury vehicles, Apollo Aspire 5 has been meticulously engineered to meet and exceed these evolving demands.
Extensively tested across Europe, India, Japan and Korea and tailored for Indian road conditions, this EV-ready tyre brings together adventure and comfort. Apollo Aspire 5 is now set for a global launch in Europe and other Asian markets.
“Performance today goes beyond speed; premium car buyers now demand a quieter, more refined driving experience, especially with the rise of electric crossovers and luxury SUVs,” said Rajesh Dahiya, Vice President, Commercial (India, SAARC and Southeast Asia), Apollo Tyres Ltd.
“At Apollo Tyres, we have been preparing for this shift with cutting-edge R&D, global benchmarking and technologies tailored for evolving mobility. Aspire 5 is a testament to our commitment to lead this new era of performance.”
Co-developed with leading OEMs, Apollo Tyres has combined deep industry insight with real-world consumer feedback to engineer a tyre that redefines ultra-high performance.
Whether tackling dynamic corners or cruising effortlessly on highways, drivers will experience elevated control, plush ride comfort, and impressively low noise levels — setting a new benchmark in the segment.
Produced at the company’s state-of-the-art plant in Andhra Pradesh, Apollo Aspire 5 tyre is a suite of cutting-edge technologies that deliver a driving experience as comfortable as it is thrilling.
This UHP tyre has been designed with Dynamic Contour Technology for superior physical and acoustic comfort and Tri-Flex Compound for high-speed grip and stability.
The launch marks a strategic move to cement Apollo Tyres’ leadership in India’s passenger car radial replacement market and reflects its commitment to innovation tailored for evolving customer needs. Aspire 5 will be sold through the country’s widest network of Apollo-branded retail outlets from July 2025 onwards.
