Application for Casual Editor, Casual Translator panels of PIB-Kochi invited

Kochi, Apr 17 (UNI) The Press Information Bureau (PIB) in Kochi has invited applications for inclusion in the Casual Editor and Casual Translator panels.
Selection to the panels will be based on a written test and interview conducted at the PIB office in Kochi, a release said.
The last date to apply for the same has been extended till April 30, 2025. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age as of 1 January 2025. The upper age limit is 62 years.

Chennai, Apr 18 (UNI) Apparently referring to Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar's remarks
on the Supreme Court setting time frame for President to take decisions on a plea filed by
Tamil Nadu over the delay in Governor granting assent to Bills passed in the State Assembly,
Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin said “no one, however high, can be above the
law.”
In a social media post, he said the SC's historic verdict on course correction has rattled many
anti-democratic forces as it was a step towards resetting the process.
