Aussie hard rock heavyweights AC/DC to kickstart fresh run of home shows in Nov

Sydney, June 24 (UNI) Legendary Australian hard rockers AC/DC have said that they are preparing to launch a fresh run of home shows beginning November 12 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
After visiting Sydney, Adelaide and Perth, the schedule will wrap up on December 14 at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium. Support will come from Aussie punks Amyl & The Sniffers, reports Metal Hammer.
The announcement of the five Australian dates is the latest addition to the band's ‘Power UP’ tour that began in May 2024 and has already included a European leg and a recently completed North American schedule.

The new run of dates is announced as the band prepare to launch a second run of European shows.
The Aussie rockers, known for classics such as ‘Highway To Hell’, and ‘Thunderstruck’, are known for their simple and straightforward rock’ n roll sound, mixing blues licks with hard edged riffs, high pitched vocals, and total energy.

While the group tends to remain tight lipped about their shows, the announcement has made some fans think that the band may be holding its final shows in Australia, though the band has not confirmed any such rumours.
