Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari Wagh bring monsoon romance to ‘Saawan Aaya Hai’ from Yeh Prem Mol Liya

Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari Wagh share tender moments in the rain in ‘Saawan Aaya Hai’, the latest song from Sooraj R. Barjatya’s upcoming film "Yeh Prem Mol Liya".
The song depicts love blossoming amidst the rain and their wonderful chemistry.
Rain-soaked romance and music have long been part of Hindi cinema, while Barjatya’s films have often placed songs at the heart of their love stories. Songs like 'Yeh Mausam Ka Jadoo Hai Mitwa' from "Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!" and 'Mhare Hivda Mein Nache Mor' from "Hum Saath Saath Hain" remain popular with listeners even today. With 'Sawan Aaya Hai,' the director continues this musical and romantic tradition.
The song showcases Khurrana and Wagh's beautiful chemistry, their secret glances, and their moments together in the rain. The scenes are reminiscent of old-school Bollywood romances. The song also depicts family members celebrating the festival together while preparing for Diwali and cleaning the house. The love-filled moments between the two actors amidst this family atmosphere add to the story's charm.
'Sawan Aaya Hai' is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. It is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Keshav Anand, with lyrics by Mayur Puri. Ghoshal's melodious voice and Reshammiya's music give the song a romantic touch.
Three decades after his first major success, Barjatya is once again bringing the world of love, family, and relationships to the big screen.
In addition to Khurrana and Wagh, the film also stars Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa, Saumya Tandon, Swanand Kirkire, Shaad Randhawa, Shruti Seth, Geeta Agarwal Sharma, Krish Rao, and Ashnoor Kukreja in pivotal roles.
The song 'Sawan Aaya Hai' is set to release on November 4. Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, the film is produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahavir Jain Films. The film will hit theatres on November 27, 2026.
