Kolkata, June 7 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday greeted the people to mark Eid ul-Adha, which was being celebrated by the Muslim community across the state with prayers and solemnity.
In a message the chief minister also conveyed her heartfelt good wishes to all.
State ruling TMC general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, in a separate message, extended his heartfelt greetings to all my brothers and sisters celebrating Eid ul-Adha.
"May this festival of faith, sacrifice and compassion inspire us to uphold the values of unity, humility and service to humanity,' he said.
'Let it remind us that true devotion lies in caring for one another and working together to build a just and inclusive society. Wishing peace, prosperity, and harmony to all," the TMC leader said.
