BJP govt acting unconstitutionally & illegally: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, , Nov 2 (UNI) Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav today stated that the BJP government is acting unconstitutionally and illegally while referring to Mohammad Azam Khan's arrest by Enforcement Directorate.
"The BJP is committing injustice and atrocities against its political opponents out of vengeance. It is misusing constitutional institutions and killing democracy while fearing the loss of power, the BJP has crossed all limits of injustice and cruelty. The BJP continues to commit injustice and disregards the Constitution and the law," he alleged.

In a statement, he charged that BJP is a fake and dishonest party with a negative mindset. "It seeks to remain in power through theft and dishonesty. The BJP cannot win elections without dishonesty and theft. The BJP has lost ground but their leaders are misleading the public with lies. Inflation, unemployment, and corruption are rampant under the BJP government. There is plunder in every department and every job. The public is distressed," he said.
Continuing his tirade, Yadav stated that farmers, students, youth, and businesswomen are all suffering from the BJP government's exploitative policies. There is immense public anger against the BJP. The people of the state are ready to oust the BJP, he remarked.
He claimed that change has begun in Uttar Pradesh. "The BJP suffered a double defeat in the Legislative Council elections in the Prime Minister's constituency. The people of UP are awaiting the Assembly elections. The day the elections are announced, the BJP will be defeated. The people will punish the BJP for its actions. The BJP will be wiped out forever," he claimed.
Yadav said that if the Samajwadi Party forms the government in forthcoming state assembly elections, a rule of social justice will be established and the rule of injustice will end. Everyone will receive justice and respect while policies will be formulated in the interest of farmer, he announced.
