BJP Himachal in-charge to undertake nine-day organisational tour from Oct 19

Shimla, Oct 18 (UNI)
BJP Himachal Pradesh in-charge and Mathura MLA Shrikant Sharma will undertake a nine-day organisational tour of the state from October 19 to 27, covering remote, border and tribal areas to review party activities and interact directly with workers, particularly at the mandal and booth levels.
According to the proposed schedule released by the BJP state office, Sharma will visit Shimla, Rampur, Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Pangi and Kullu, holding a series of organisational meetings with party office-bearers and workers. The tour is aimed at reviewing the functioning of the organisation in far-flung areas and strengthening coordination between the state leadership and grassroots workers.
On October 19, Sharma will attend organisational meetings at the BJP state office in Shimla before leaving for Rampur, where he will interact with workers of the Rampur Assembly constituency.
On October 20, he will visit Bhavnagar in Kinnaur district for a meeting of the Nichar mandal before proceeding to Kalpa.
On October 21, Sharma will attend a joint meeting of the Kalpa and Sangla mandals at Reckong Peo. He will later attend a meeting of the Moorang mandal at Spillo before travelling to Pooh.
On October 22, he will participate in a meeting of the Pooh mandal at Nako before leaving for Kaza in Lahaul-Spiti district.
Sharma will attend a meeting of the Spiti mandal in Kaza on October 23, before proceeding to Keylong.
On October 24, he will participate in a meeting of the Keylong mandal and interact with workers of the Udaipur mandal.
The BJP leader will travel to the remote Pangi region of Chamba district on October 25, to attend a meeting of the Pangi mandal.
On October 26, he will leave Pangi for Manali.
The tour will conclude in Kullu on October 27, where Sharma will attend an organisational meeting with members of the district's three previous working committees.
The BJP has placed particular emphasis on meetings in Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti and Pangi, where difficult terrain and geographical remoteness pose challenges to organisational coordination.
The interactions are expected to provide local office-bearers and workers an opportunity to convey their concerns and suggestions directly to the state leadership. The party aims to strengthen grassroots engagement, review organisational activities at the mandal level and improve coordination across the state, with particular focus on maintaining an active network of workers down to the booth level.
