BJP to launch ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ campaign in Bihar: Saraogi

Patna, Oct 27 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ campaign in Bihar to counter the alleged misleading narratives propagated by the opposition, state party president Sanjay Saraogi said on Tuesday.
He said the campaign would be conducted from the state to the district level to present the party''s position before the public through marches and other programmes.
Saraogi said the first phase of the campaign would be conducted across the country until November 5, with extensive preparations underway in Bihar.
He said foot marches would be organised at all 10 divisional headquarters from October 28.
The campaign would begin in Patna, where Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary would lead a march from the statue of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan at Gandhi Maidan to Kargil Chowk on October 28.
Saraogi alleged that the Congress and its opposition allies were attempting to establish a misleading narrative across the country.
He accused the Congress of questioning constitutional institutions and the Election Commission and making statements against the process of preparing an accurate and error-free electoral roll.
He said the BJP would reach out to people to explain its position on democratic institutions and counter the opposition''s allegations.
The second phase of the campaign would cover district headquarters across Bihar, with party workers participating in marches and other public outreach activities, Saraogi said.
