Bombay High Court puts Sachin Waze bail on hold until October 7 in Antilia Case

Mumbai, Sep 30 (UNI) The Bombay High Court on Wednesday temporarily halted the release of former police officer Sachin Waze by staying the special NIA court order that granted him bail in the Antilia bomb scare and businessman Mansukh Hiran murder cases.
A division bench comprising Justices Girish Kulkarni and Neela Gokhale passed the interim order and issued notice to Waze.
The High Court has kept the special NIA court bail order in abeyance until October 7, when the matter is scheduled for further consideration.
Waze had been granted bail by the special NIA court in connection with the Antilia bomb scare and the murder of businessman Mansukh Hiran. The High Court's intervention means that the benefit of that bail order will remain stayed until October 7.
