CM, Ministers hold informal meeting, Cabinet meet to be held on June 5

Hyderabad, June 1 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and all cabinet ministers held an informal meeting ahead of the Telangana Formation Day to extend their greetings to the people of the state and review key public welfare issues.
The 90-minute session, based on comprehensive reports submitted by ministers following their district tours and interactions with citizens, covered a wide range of topics. It was decided that a formal Cabinet meeting would be held on June 5 to take policy decisions.
Key issues discussed included the Bhu Bharati land survey initiative, Indiramma Illu housing scheme, monsoon preparedness, paddy procurement, a roadmap to address government employees' demands, and the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam employment initiative.
In light of the overwhelming response to the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme, ministers unanimously called for stringent scrutiny of applications to ensure that only genuinely eligible candidates are selected. CM Revanth Reddy instructed officials to implement a transparent and foolproof selection process.
The rural scenario, especially the challenges faced by farmers and the monsoon’s anticipated impact on agriculture, irrigation, drinking water, urban traffic, and health systems, was discussed at length. A detailed roadmap was proposed to ensure preparedness and timely action.
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka shared insights from his meetings with representatives of government employees. The ministers agreed on the need for a well-structured roadmap to address their demands and requested Bhatti to convene a follow-up meeting with the employee unions soon.
Instructions were also issued to all 33 district administrations to celebrate Telangana Formation Day on June 2 in a grand manner. Officials were briefed on the plans for statewide celebrations.
Extending warm greetings to the people of Telangana, CM Revanth Reddy and the cabinet reaffirmed their commitment to "Telangana Rising 2047", aiming to transform it into a people-driven movement for progress.
Citizens have been invited to participate in the state-level celebrations at Parade Ground, Hyderabad, starting at 0900 hours on June 2, an official statement said on Sunday night.
