Coalition victory in local body polls unprecedented: AP minister Subhash

Kakinada, Nov 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Labour Minister Vasamsetti Subhash today described the coalition's victory in the ZPTC and MPTC elections as massive and unprecedented, saying the results reflected public support for the state government's development and welfare policies.
Reacting to the election results at his home constituency Ramachandrapuram, the Minister said the mandate had increased the responsibility of the coalition government to work harder and retain people's confidence.
He attributed the coalition's success across the state to the coordinated efforts of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Minister Nara Lokesh.
Subhash said the YSRCP had expected political gains by anticipating differences among the coalition partners, but the results had proved otherwise.
He described the victory as not just that of the coalition but also a reflection of the people's mandate and blessings.
The Minister expressed confidence that the coalition would repeat its performance in the forthcoming Gram Panchayat elections.
