Congress alleges Railways denied trains for Nov 1 ‘Delhi Chalo’ Rally

New Delhi, Oct 28 (UNI) The Congress on Wednesday accused the Narendra Modi government of obstructing its mobilisation for the November 1 ‘Delhi Chalo’ march and mega rally, alleging that Indian Railways had failed to provide trains for party MPs, MLAs and workers from Telangana despite repeated requests.
Congress general secretary K C Venugopal, in a post on the social media platform X, alleged that the government was attempting to prevent party leaders and workers from across the country from reaching the national capital for the planned demonstration against what the Congress calls “Vote Chori”, or electoral malpractice.
“Modi-Shah are so nervous, they have started blocking people from all over India who have begun moving to Delhi for the November 1 Delhi Chalo March and Mega Rally,” Venugopal said, directly accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah of attempting to impede the Congress mobilisation.
