Varanasi, Sep 17 (UNI)The Varanasi City Congress Committee on Thursday observed “Unemployment Day” on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, staging a protest and distributing rattles to highlight issues including inflation, unemployment, education, fuel prices, floods and other public concerns.
Congress workers gathered at Padmashree Square and marched towards the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar in Ravindrapuri, raising slogans during the protest.

Referring to the party’s “25 Years of Modi’s Rule—25 Questions” campaign, Choubey said Congress has raised issues including demonetisation, GST, the COVID-19 lockdown, farm laws, the Manipur violence, unemployment and farmers’ income.Notably, the “25 Years of Modi’s Rule—25 Questions of Accountability” campaign is a counter-offensive launched by the Congress.
