Congress suspends Ravi Srinivas for six years over anti-party activities

Hyderabad, June 29 (UNI) The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Disciplinary Committee has suspended Ravi Srinivas, the Congress candidate from Sirpur Kagaznagar in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, from the party for a period of six years.

The decision was taken unanimously during a meeting chaired by TPCC Disciplinary Committee Chairman and MP Mallu Ravi today.

The suspension followed a complaint submitted by DCC President Vishwa Prasad of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, who alleged that Ravi Srinivas was involved in activities that were detrimental to the interests of the Congress party, a party statement said.
