Cyient Foundation partners with ICT Academy to empower students in Telangana and AP

Hyderabad, June 18 (UNI) Cyient Foundation, the CSR arm of Cyient Ltd., has partnered with ICT Academy to launch a comprehensive entrepreneurship development programme aimed at empowering 2,000 students across engineering, arts, and science institutions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The initiative is designed to equip young minds from tier-2 and tier-3 cities with entrepreneurial skills and industry exposure through a structured three-stage programme spanning awareness, intensive training, and mentorship, Hyderabad-based foundation said in a release here on Wednesday.
Over the course of 12 months, the programme aims to build entrepreneurial capacity through awareness sessions for 2,000 students, followed by hands-on entrepreneurship training for 1,000 selected participants.
The top 100 students will then receive two months of personalised mentoring and business facilitation, including guidance on fundraising, compliance, leadership, and go-to-market strategies.
Commenting on the initiative, Krishna Deevi, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Cyient, said, “Through this partnership with ICT Academy, we aim to nurture a generation of confident, capable, and socially conscious entrepreneurs from the grassroots. This initiative reflects our commitment to inclusive growth by bringing industry-aligned opportunities to young people in underserved regions.”
Speaking on the partnership, Suresh Babu L, Associate Vice President at ICT Academy, said, “This collaboration with Cyient Foundation is aligned with our vision of bridging the skill divide and fostering innovation at the grassroots level. We are proud to deliver a holistic entrepreneurial journey—from inspiration to incubation—for students who will go on to shape the future of India’s economy.”

The programme will also see active engagement from Cyient associates, who will contribute as facilitators and mentors.
The entrepreneurship development programme aims to support the launch of at least 100 student-led enterprises, thereby contributing to job creation and long-term economic growth in the region.
