New Delhi, Apr 28 (UNI) A Delhi court on Monday extended 26/11 Mumbai attacks accused, Tahawwur Rana's National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody by 12 days.
Rana was recently extradited from the United States.
NIA Special Judge, Chander Jit Singh, after hearing the plea on behalf of NIA through in-camera proceedings, passed an order, giving the central probe agency Rana's custody for 12 more days.
Rana, a Pakistani-born Canadian National, was brought before the Special Court after completion of his 18-day NIA custody.
The court had earlier dismissed Rana's application seeking permission to talk to his family members.
Rana is one of the accused in the November 26, 2008, Mumbai terror attacks chargesheeted by the NIA in 2011 and by the Mumbai Police in 2023.

The US Supreme Court had earlier rejected Rana's appeal and cleared the way for his transfer to Indian custody. UNI XC SSP
