Satara, June 16 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday participated in a school entrance festival organised at the primary center school of Kodoli Zilla Parishad in Satara taluka. He also inaugurated a school built under the My Adarsh School Initiative under the District Planning Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, Shinde said: "School is a temple that creates culture and in this temple, teachers create the bright future generation of the country. Students should also respond to teachers to become fully knowledgeable in all subjects including art, sports, literature, culture."
"Students should study a lot and grow up and increase the fame of the country and the state," Shinde urged.
Stating that various initiatives are being implemented to ensure quality education to the students of local self-government bodies, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde said quality education is being provided in the schools of local self-government bodies.
Students from these schools are working in high positions. Former President Late. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Rashtrapati Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi have also studied in government schools, he said.
