Elli AvrRam arrives at London premiere of ‘The Cycle of Love’

Mumbai, Oct 5 (UNI) Elli AvrRam attended the London premiere of "The Cycle of Love", a documentary based on the remarkable relationship between Indian artist P. K. Mahanandia and Swedish woman Lotta von Schedvin.
AvrRam said that for her, the London screening wasn't just a film festival, but an opportunity to reconnect with the family. She explained that she had known them for many years and felt a deep connection to their story.
"P. K. and Lotta's story is so inspiring and the world needs to hear it. It fills your heart with so much hope that you begin to believe in the power of love and humanity," said Ellie.
"The Cycle of Love" depicts the extraordinary life of P.K. Mahanandia and his passion to find his love. After Lotta returned to Sweden from India, PK decided to reunite with her and travelled by bicycle from India to Sweden. Today, the couple has celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Speaking about attending the London premiere after a screening hosted by Priyanka Chopra in New York, AvrRam said, "I'm so happy to be here to support her and share this beautiful message with people about her story."
The 36-year-old actress said this isn't just a fantasy from a movie, but a real love story. "They actually cycled from India to Sweden," he said. "They've been married for 50 years now. This is a beautiful example of PK's determination and his resolve to reach Lotta."
Meeting P.K. and Lotta in person was also a very emotional experience for the "Mickey Virus" actress. She said, “It was very moving to finally meet them in person and see the same love they still have today. The world needs more stories like this.”
Her connection to this story goes back many years. "When I read her book in 2017, I was deeply moved by Lotta and her connection to India. I'm from Sweden myself and have been fascinated by India since childhood. So, many aspects of her story resonated with my own life and journey."
