Lucknow, May 21 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav has said that the healthcare "mistakes" of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) proved fatal in the past for the people and the government should ensure that the negligence in controlling Corona is not repeated.

Taking to X, Akhilesh wrote, "Before the alarm bells ring, the government must act in time to control and prevent Corona, ensuring that the negligence and mismanagement of the past are not repeated. The BJP's mistakes often prove fatal for the people."

"Even the corona vaccine, whose certificates were distributed with much fanfare, has now proven ineffective. Therefore, this time, there is an even greater need for vigilance. We all must explain to the public that, although the corona situation is not extremely serious yet, it should not be ignored, as such diseases can change form and return," said the SP leader.

He said the government should make proper use of its healthcare and information system and ensure that fear of Corona does not spread among the people.
