EOW registers case against coloniser for illegal colony construction in Ujjain

Ujjain, June 5 (UNI) The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) registered a case on Thursday against a coloniser for constructing an illegal colony in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh.
Following an investigation, the EOW filed a case against the coloniser of Gauri Nandan Parisar Colony and Dashrath Nandan Parisar Colony.
Four accused -- Rituraj Singh Chauhan, Jasraj Sharma, Sonu Sharma, and Pushpraj Singh Chauhan -- have been booked in the case.
The allegations against them include constructing colonies without obtaining necessary approvals from the Municipal Corporation and other agencies.
The coloniser allegedly promised basic amenities to plot buyers but failed to provide them. The accused are also booked for causing revenue loss to the government.
The EOW has taken action based on these charges and is further investigating the matter.
