Govt hospitals in Kerala lack equipment, doctors, medicine: Congress

Thiruvananthapuram, June 30 (UNI) The Congress party in Kerala has alleged that the Government Medical College hospitals in the state are facing a shortage of surgical equipment, medicines, doctors, and staff, showing the government’s neglect and apathy towards the health sector.
Responding to the government apathy, KPCC President Sunny Joseph said the party workers will hold protest programmes in front of all the medical college hospitals in the state on July 1.
The protest marches and sit-in demonstrations will be held in front of all government medical colleges in the state under the leadership of District Congress Committees (DCCs) at 10 am on July 1, Sunny Joseph added.
