Haryana CM unveils 'Ramrajya' governance model at Ladwa Dussehra rally

Ladwa, Oct 20 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Tuesday unveiled a politically charged Ramayana-inspired governance blueprint, declaring that his government's vision of 'Ramrajya' is rooted in the inclusive ideals of Lord Ram, revered as Maryada Purushottam not merely for his military victory over Ravana but for upholding truth, restraint, service, compassion and good conduct.
Addressing the Vijayadashami celebrations here, Saini asserted that Ram's greatest legacy lay in his embrace of Nishadraj, Mata Shabri, Kevat, forest dwellers and the vanar sena, a model of social harmony that his administration is determined to replicate by ensuring dignity for farmers, opportunities for youth, safety for women and a secure safety net for the elderly, with every scheme reaching the last person in the queue without discrimination.
"This is the soul of Ramrajya," Saini said, insisting that his government harbours no bias and is advancing governance with complete transparency. He declared that in the present era, governance means securing respect for the farmer, opening doors for the young, empowering women and supporting the aged, while ensuring that the fruits of official schemes percolate down to the poorest sections.
The Chief Minister performed the aarti of Lord Shri Ram and prayed for the prosperity and accelerated development of Haryana. He announced a grant of Rs 11 lakh for the Jai Bharat Kala Manch Ladwa and flagged off a grand Shobha Yatra as part of the festivities, while extending warm Vijayadashami greetings to the people of the state.
Aligning the state's mission with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolve to build a Viksit Bharat, Saini said Haryana is marching ahead with the determined goal of becoming a 'Viksit Haryana'. He described Dussehra as a festival of India's eternal consciousness, symbolizing the victory of good over evil, justice over injustice and truth over falsehood.
He reminded the gathering that Lord Ram's victory was not merely a triumph of arms, but a victory of righteousness, while Maa Durga's slaying of Mahishasur established the supremacy of dharma. "The purpose of strength is not arrogance, but to protect the weak and end injustice," he said.
In a strong moral appeal, Saini urged citizens to burn not just the effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhkarana, but also their inner demons of ego, anger, greed, jealousy, deceit and selfishness. He cautioned that merely torching symbolic structures would not suffice unless society purges itself of these vices.
Praising the Jai Bharat Kala Manch for reconnecting the younger generation with Indian culture, values and ideals, the Chief Minister called upon the people to embrace truth, service, righteousness and patriotism. He envisioned a society where power is tempered with compassion, prosperity with sensitivity, and rights with duties.
The event was attended by CM Office in-charge Kailash Saini, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena, SP Chandra Mohan, SDM Ladwa Rajesh Kumar Soni, municipal and market committee representatives, media coordinator Tushar Saini, and a host of BJP office-bearers, cultural activists and eminent citizens.
