Haryana: DC Aparajita asks eligible women to register for 2nd phase of Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana

Kaithal, Sep 27 (UNI) District Collector Aparajita today announced that the second phase of the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana has been launched by the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to promote women's economic empowerment and self-reliance.
Expanding the scope of the scheme, women over the age of 23 years from families with annual family incomes of up to Rs ₹1.80 lakh have now been included. Under this scheme, eligible women will receive financial assistance of ₹2,100 per month directly into their bank accounts through DBT.
Aparajita further stated that the registration process for the second phase of the scheme has begun in the district. Eligible women can register themselves from home by downloading the Lado Laxmi Yojana app on their smartphones. Additionally, women can register through the nearest Social Welfare Officer office, CSC centre, or the help counters available at the Seva Setu camps being held throughout the district.
She said that under the scheme's prescribed provisions, eligibility provisions have been made for category III and IV cancer patients, those suffering from rare diseases, and women suffering from hemophilia and thalassemia. Furthermore, those whose annual income is up to Rs 3 lakh and whose children have scored more than 80 per cent marks in the Xth or XIIth board exams will also be applicable to families fulfilling the prescribed criteria related to NIPUN Bharat Mission or overcoming malnutrition.
Aparajita further said that when applying, a Haryana domicile, Aadhaar card, a mobile number linked to Aadhaar, and a bank passbook in the woman's name—and, in the case of a married woman, a family member's Aadhaar—are required. In addition, an electricity bill or connection number, a PAN card, and, if the applicant is employed with the Haryana Skill Employment Corporation, their registration number are also required.
