Haryana govt school features among world's top 10

Chandigarh, Jun 19 (UNI) Government Girls Senior Secondary School NIT-5, Faridabad, has been included in the list of op 10 schools of the world, Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said on Thursday.
The list has been published by T-4 Education
"This achievement is inspirational for the government schools of the state. This also proves that government schools can excel on the global platform. Education reform initiatives like smart classrooms, STEM labs and teachers’ training by the state government will get new energy after this honour," he said.
The minister said th school's success Faridabad, is a guiding light for the entire state and inspires government schools towards innovation and overall student welfare.
He said the top 10 schools in the world have been included in the Supporting Healthy Lives category of the World's Best School Prize 2025 organised by T-4 Education, in which Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Faridabad, has also been ranked.
T-4 Education is an international educational organisation founded in 2020 in London, United Kingdom. The organisation is working in more than 100 countries and empowering teachers, school heads and education systems to improve the quality of school education.
The top 10 schools in the world by T-4 Education include Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Faridabad, Zila Parishad School, Jalinder Nagar Pune (Maharashtra), Ekya School JP Nagar (Karnataka), and Delhi Public School, Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh). UNI GS SSP

Shimla, June 19 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh High Court has held that under the Motor Vehicles Act, compensation for loss of income is limited to financially dependent legal heirs, however, married daughters, though not financially dependent on their deceased father, are still entitled to compensation under the head of "loss of consortium".
