Haryana minister inaugurates modern bus stand in Barwala with AC waiting room, six bus bays

Hisar, Oct 24 (UNI) Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa on Saturday inaugurated a modern bus stand in Barwala, equipped with six bus bays, an air-conditioned waiting room, ticket vending machines and dedicated facilities for women and differently-abled passengers.
The newly constructed facility also includes a breastfeeding room, shops and separate toilets for men, women and persons with disabilities.
The first floor houses five office rooms, two dormitories for drivers, an additional room and toilet facilities.
Addressing the gathering, Gangwa said the new facility would improve passenger convenience and strengthen public transport infrastructure in Barwala.
The minister also announced that a tender worth approximately Rs 3.30 crore had been issued for the development of Rambagh, while another Rs 3.30 crore would be spent on a city park.
He said construction of a modern grain market adjoining the bus stand was underway, along with work on a stadium, community centre, roads and other civic infrastructure.
Gangwa added that construction of most streets in Barwala had been completed, while work on the remaining stretches would begin shortly.
