Haryana: Panchkula DC orders probe into temple wall collapse, illegal LPG refilling

Panchkula, Oct 8 (UNI) Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma, today, ordered an inspection into the collapse of a temple wall in Raipur Rani and directed officials to investigate alleged illegal refilling of small LPG cylinders in Budhanpur village.
Acting on complaints raised during a Samadhan Shivir at the Mini Secretariat, Sharma directed the Block Development and Panchayat Officer to inspect the damaged temple wall and submit a report following villagers' demand for its reconstruction.
In a separate complaint alleging unauthorised refilling of small LPG cylinders in Budhanpur, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the District Food and Supplies Officer to conduct an immediate inspection and take strict action against any violations.
Sharma also ordered a field inspection after residents of Chandiwas Mandhana village complained that rainwater accumulation had damaged agricultural crops. The concerned officer was asked to submit a report at the earliest.
The Deputy Commissioner heard four complaints during the grievance redressal camp and directed officials to address them on priority.
Reviewing pending grievances on the CM Window, Jansamvad, SMGT and CPGRAMS platforms, Sharma instructed departments to dispose of outstanding cases and submit compliance reports at the next Thursday's Samadhan Shivir.
He said the camps are held every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to noon, with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini monitoring grievance redressal through video conferencing.
City Magistrate Jagriti, District Development and Panchayat Officer Vishal Parashar and other district officials attended the meeting.
