Having two daughters is a double bonus for me: Anil Kapoor

Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI) Actor Anil Kapoor has opened up about fatherhood and the importance of making time for family, describing his daughters Sonam and Rhea as a “double bonus” in his life.
Kapoor spoke about the experience on 'India Ke Top 1%: The Anil Kapoor Show', after a contestant shared her decision to take a break from work to spend more time with her family.
Kapoor revealed that he was constantly shooting when Rhea was born and arrived at the hospital late. He said that he still regrets not being there for her birth.
The 69-year-old actor said, "Having a daughter is a bonus in itself, and I have two daughters, Sonam and Rhea. So, it's a double bonus for me."
He said he now understands the importance of devoting time to family. According to the "Mr India" actor, both of his sons-in-law also maintain a good balance between work and family.
"India Ke Top 1%" will also give viewers a glimpse into Kapoor's family and the emotional side. The show will feature 100 contestants, while viewers can join in the game via "Play Along" on JioHotstar and stand a chance to win prizes.
"India Ke Top 1%: The Anil Kapoor Show" will premiere on September 19 at 8 pm on Star Plus and JioHotstar.
