Hisar, Oct 15 (UNI) Hisar Police have arrested four people in three separate cases involving a knife attack, illegal firearm possession and motorcycle theft, recovering an illegal .315-bore pistol and a motorcycle allegedly used in an assault, officials said on Thursday.
The arrests were made under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain.
In the first case, police arrested Alex, a resident of Patel Nagar, for allegedly attacking Sameer with a knife after throwing chilli powder into his eyes on September 26.
According to police, Sameer was walking towards a grocery shop in the evening when the accused allegedly intercepted him, threw chilli powder into his eyes and stabbed him before fleeing.
The victim sustained a knife injury and required medical treatment, during which a doctor removed the knife from his body, police said.
Following a complaint, a case was registered and a team from the Police Lines Area (PLA) outpost arrested the accused from Guhla Cheeka. The motorcycle allegedly used in the attack was also recovered, they added.
