Kangra, Oct 31 (UNI) Nurpur Police have arrested two persons after recovering 7.12 grams of heroin (chitta) from a motorcycle during a naka near Kandwal Police Post on National Highway-154 in Kangra district, police said on Saturday.
The recovery was made by a team of the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), Nurpur, on October 30 during a special drive against drug trafficking.
According to police, the team received a tip-off that two youths travelling on a black Yamaha R15 motorcycle (HP54E-1633) from Pathankot towards Jasur/Nurpur were allegedly carrying heroin.
