Hyd: BRS chief KCR extends condolences to Gulzar House fire victims

Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) expressed deep shock over the tragic fire incident at Gulzar House near Charminar that claimed 17 lives on Sunday.
In a statement, KCR while extending condolences to the bereaved families, urged the State Congress government to provide quality medical treatment for the injured and financial support for the victims’ families.
Calling the incident deeply unfortunate, the former Chief Minister asked the government to remain vigilant and implement strict preventive measures to avoid such tragic incidents in the future.
In a separate statement, All India Majlis-e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi termed the fire tragedy at Gulzar Houz as a “painful incident”.
“The family has been living in the house for 125 years and it is an unfortunate incident. I offer my condolences to the family members of the victims,” Owaisi added.
