Hyd: Software engineer dies by suicide at hostel in Madhapur

Hyderabad, Sep 15 (UNI) A 23-year-old software engineer died by suicide after allegedly jumping from a hostel building under Madhapur police station limits on Tuesday.
According to police, Yashwanth, a native of Pathapatnam in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district, was working as a software engineer at a company in Gachibowli and had been staying at Avasa Co-living Hostel for the past 10 days.
Police said Yashwanth had visited a hospital for a blood test due to health issues and, after returning to the hostel, allegedly jumped from the building. He died on the spot.
Madhapur police shifted the body to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem examination and registered a case.
Police are examining his mobile phone to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident. His parents were reportedly on their way to Hyderabad.
