IMD predicts thunderstorms in Mumbai

Mumbai, May 2 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts cloudy sky and rain in Mumbai in the first week of May, providing a slight relief from the harsh sun. However, there is no relief anticipated from humid temperatures.

As the month begins, the weather is cloudy throughout the first week. The wind will be flowing around 3 kmph, while humidity will stay at 70%. The Friday temperature at 9 am was 31 degrees Celsius with light winds.

A rise in temperatures and cloudy sky will be witnessed as the day proceeds, the IMD added.
