India's squad for home series against West Indies & ROI squad for Irani Cup announced

Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI The BCCI Men's Selection Committee on Wednesday announced India's squad for the upcoming white-ball home series against the West Indies as well as the Rest of India squad for Irani Cup against the Ranji Trophy champions Jammu & Kashmir.
Shubman Gill will lead the side in ODIs as India begin building momentum towards the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027.
Pacer Auqib Nabi receives his maiden ODI call-up after being part of the Test squad for India's tour of Sri Lanka in August, although he did not make his debut. Batter Naman Dhir has also earned his maiden call-up to the Indian squad.
Ruturaj Gaikwad returns to the Indian set-up after last featuring in an ODI during the home series against South Africa last year. Ravindra Jadeja also is also back in the ODI fold after having last featured in the ODI series against New Zealand in January.
In the T20I squad, Mayank Yadav returns to the India set-up after missing the T20I series against Afghanistan. Kuldeep Yadav and Prince Yadav have also been recalled, strengthening the bowling unit.
India have also made changes to their squad for the upcoming Asian Games. Varun Chakaravarthy will miss the tournament due to a side strain, while Nitish Kumar Reddy, who was originally named in the squad, has been withdrawn and will instead feature in the ODI series against West Indies.
Vipraj Nigam has been named as Reddy's replacement in the Asian Games squad.
