J&K: Gunfight breaks out between SFs, terrorists in Ramnagar belt of Udhampur

Jammu, Apr 9 (UNI) A fierce gunfight erupted between security forces and a group of terrorists, believed to be two to three, on Wednesday afternoon in the forests of Ramnagar tehsil in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said the encounter triggered between terrorists and security forces in village Jopher of Ramnagar.
"The gunfight broke out when a joint team of police and army had launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) on specific inputs about movement of terrorists in Jopher village," they said.
"Two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped," they said and said the operation is in progress.
