J&K: Northern Command Army Commander reviews operational preparedness

Jammu, Oct 6 (UNI) Northern Command Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma today reviewed operational preparedness and the security situation in Kalakot and Rajouri sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.
Lt Gen Sharma also briefed troops on vigilance, training and measures to maintain security along the LoC and hinterland.
The Northern Command in a post on X, said that Lt Gen Sharma visited the Kalakot and Rajouri sectors to review operational preparedness and the security scenario.
“Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, #ArmyCdrNC, visited #Kalakot and #Rajouri sectors to review operational preparedness and the security scenario. He was briefed on key operational aspects, including vigilance, training, synergy and innovative practices adopted to maintain a dominant posture for robust security along LoC and Hinterland,” said a post.
It added that, while interacting with the troops, the Army Commander commended their professionalism and devotion to duty.
He emphasized the need to stay resolute and ready to counter any misadventure by the adversary.
