Jambha district-level programme held at RKSD College on Diamond Jubilee of formation of Haryana

Kaithal, Nov 1 (UNI) MLA Satpal Jambha, while congratulating the district residents on Haryana and Kaithal Day today, said that November 1 is a day of pride and honour for all residents of the state.
"On this day in 1966, Haryana came into existence as a separate state. Over the course of nearly six decades, our state has established itself as one of the leading states in the country through hard work, dedication, and determination. Similarly, on this day in 1989, Kaithal came into existence as a district. Previously, the district was a subdivision of Kurukshetra and Karnal districts," Jambha said while speaking as the chief guest at a district-level programme at RKSD College to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Haryana's formation.
The MLA and other guests inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp in front of the statue of Goddess Saraswati.
The programme, attended by President Droupadi Murmu, Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh, and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, was broadcast live from Kurukshetra.
Jamba said that Haryana is not just defined by its geographical boundaries, but by its bravery, culture, traditions, and hardworking people. "This is the sacred land where Lord Krishna gave the message of the Gita. Its farmers have contributed to making the country self-sufficient in foodgrains, our soldiers are protecting the borders, and our athletes have brought glory to the state by hoisting the tricolour on the international stage. Today, Haryana is continuously progressing in the fields of agriculture, sports, education, industry, science and technology, and infrastructure."
He added that Kaithal also has made a special contribution in Haryana's development. UNI XC SS
