Jharkhand: BJYM organises blood donation camp on PM's birthday

Ranchi, Sep 17 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) organised a blood donation camp at the BJP state office here on Thursday as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
The camp was jointly inaugurated by BJP state president Aditya Sahu, Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, state organisation general secretary Karmaveer Singh, former state presidents Deepak Prakash and Ravindra Kumar Rai, and BJYM state president Shashank Raj.
Several BJYM workers donated blood at the camp and encouraged others to participate in blood donation.
Sahu said blood donation was an important form of social service and urged healthy people to come forward to donate blood regularly.
Marandi appreciated the initiative and said such activities by young party workers conveyed a positive message to society.
Karmaveer Singh said blood donation was an important means of serving humanity and urged young workers to participate in social service activities and spread awareness about blood donation.
Shashank Raj said the BJYM was organising various service activities as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan on Modi's birthday and that the blood donation camp was an important part of the initiative.
Several BJP and BJYM leaders and workers were present at the event.
