Thiruvananthapuram, May 1 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in a special flight at Air Force Technical Area in Sanghumugham at 7.50 pm on Thursday.
The Prime Minister, who reached here to inaugurate the Vizhinjam International Seaport on May two, was received by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Minister George Kurian, Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor, City Corporation Mayor Arya Rajendran, MLAs and MPs.
Later, the Prime Minister proceeded to Kerala Raj Bhavan to stay there where he was received by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar.
On May two (tomorrow), Modi will visit Pangode Military Station at 9.30 am and will take a helicopter to Vizhinjam at 10.30 am. He will be given a warm reception at the mother ship MSC Celestino Maresca. The inaugural ceremony will take place at 11 am.
Later, he will return to Pangode Military Station from there, then proceed to Raj Bhavan and leave for Hyderabad at 12.30 pm.
