Kuala Lumpur, May 20 (UNI) Former world No. 1 Kidambi Srikanth progressed to the main draw of the men’s singles event at the Malaysia Masters 2025 badminton tournament after winning both his qualifying matches at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil on Tuesday.

Tharun Mannepalli went down 13-21, 21-23 to Thailand’s Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul, while Sankar Subramanian narrowly lost to China’s Xuan Chen Zhu 20-22, 20-22 in a closely fought contest.
