Maha: Actor Tiger Shroff escapes unhurt after 3 unidentified men open fire

Mumbai, Oct 18 (UNI) Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt after unidentified men allegedly opened fire at him today, injuring his driver, between 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm in the Pushpa area of suburban Juhu.
Three rounds were fired at Tiger Shroff’s luxury vehicle. His driver has been admitted to Nanavati Hospital.
The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Juhu Police Station.
The police confirmed that the actor is safe and said that investigation is on.
“A firing incident has been reported under Juhu Police Station. Actor Tiger Shroff is safe and has not sustained any gunshot injuries. Further investigation is underway,” according to a Mumbai police statement.
The incident occurred when actor Tiger Shroff was leaving a football ground.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting, including the identities and motive of the attackers, remain under investigation.
The Mumbai police is in the process of examining the authenticity of a social media post attributed to overseas gangsters Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, who have claimed responsibility for the incident.
The social media post blamed actor Tiger Shroff for ignoring earlier messages to him warning against working with actor Salman Khan.
Meanwhile, the police seized the CCTV of this area and began investigating.
Reacting to the incident, Congress leader Sachin Sawant said, “This is really very scary. There has never been such a breakdown of law and order in Mumbai before, but it has happened now under the Mahayuti government.”
“Earlier, politician Baba Siddiqui was murdered, Salman Khan’s house was fired upon, producers are receiving threats. Earlier we used to say that Maharashtra is on its way to become Bihar, but now it has actually happened. This is the government’s inefficiency. We condemn it. Mumbai used to be considered the safest city in the country but today this situation has happened. This is scary,” Sawant added.
