Maha CM Fadnavis visiting Nashik to review preparations for Simhastha Mela

Nashik, May 29 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be visiting Nashik on Sunday, June 1, to review the preparations for the Simhastha Mela to be held in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar in 2027, including the dates of the bathing ceremonies.
During this visit, a meeting will be held in the Municipal Corporation in the presence of 13 akhadas related to the Sadhu-Mahant and Simhastha.
The dates for the bathing ceremonies will be announced after this meeting. Along with this, a review of the preparations will be done as per the instructions given by Chief Minister Fadnavis to all the agencies in February. Therefore, the Municipal Corporation's system including the District Collector's Office has started working.
Although preparations are underway at the administrative level for the Simhastha to be held in Nashik in 2027, this year's preparations are going slowly compared to the last Simhastha.
Due to this, there is displeasure among the Sadhu-Mahant and the people of Nashik.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be visiting Nashik to remove this displeasure.
Chief Minister Fadnavis is visiting Nashik to discuss the planning of the Simhastha with the Sadhu-Mahant and announce the Simhastha dates. After receiving the instructions, the administration has started the administrative preparations.
The meeting will be held in the Standing Committee Hall at the Rajiv Gandhi Headquarters of the Municipal Corporation.
Twenty-six representatives of each of the thirteen Akharas of the All India Akhara Parishad, two each, as well as representatives of the Sadhu-Mahant and Purohit Sangh from Nashik and Trimbakeshwar, will be present in this meeting.
The dates of the Shahi Snan and Parvasnan will be announced in this meeting. Therefore, the administration and religious institutions have started planning for this meeting.
The Akharas of the Panchayat of the Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, namely Shri Nirvani Akhara, Shri Nirmohi Akhara, Shri Dingbar Akhara, Shri Juna Akhara, Shri Awan Akhara, Shri Agni Akhara, Shri Niranjani Akhara, Shri Anand Akhara, Shri Mahanirvani Akhara, Shri Atal Akhara, Shri Bada Udalas Akhara, Naya Udalas Akhara, Shri Nirmal Akhara, have been invited for this meeting, and the administration has instructed that two members each should be present.
