Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) Following inputs from the Intelligence Bureau indicating that terrorist organisations have increased use of drones after India's recent military operation—Operation Sindoor—which targeted and destroyed terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), the district magistrate of Raigad, Kishan N Jawale, has issued a temporary ban on the use of drones and other aerial devices across key locations in the district.
The ban includes the use of drones, remote-controlled microlight aircraft, paragliding, paramotors, hang gliders and hot air balloons in and around sensitive and important locations within Raigad district.
