Maha: FIR against actor Ajaz Khan for raping aspiring actress

Mumbai, May 5 (UNI) The city police has registered an FIR against Big Boss 7 participant and actor Ajaz Khan for allegedly raping a 30-year-old woman who is an aspiring actress, officials said here on Monday.
The Charkop police station has registered an offence under Sections 64 (punishment for rape), 54(2)(m) (punishment for rape in certain cases), 69 (sexual intercourse by employing deceitful means, etc), and 74 (assault or use of criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita on May four after the woman lodged a complaint alleging that Khan has raped her on multiple occasions under the pretext of helping her get roles in TV shows and promising to marry her.
As per the FIR (first information report), the victim, a resident of Kandivali West, is an actress who works in television shows. She was selected for the web series 'House Arrest' and went to Madh Malvani in Malad West for the shoot on March 17, 2025.
Actor Ajaz Khan was the host of the show, and she was introduced to him during the shoot. However, she did not like the show and left it on March 22. Despite this, the web series team invited her to attend the show’s finale on March 24, which she did.
Later on, Khan had developed a relationship with her with fake promises and not fulfilling any of the promises which included helping her to secure film roles, marriage, financial help, etc., following this she made a complaint.
Khan has also worked in several films while additionally, on May 2, the Amboli Police registered an FIR against Khan, along with others, and the Ullu App in connection with House Arrest for allegedly featuring obscene content and language.
