Maha HSC results: 93.64 pass percentages in Kolhapur division

Kolhapur, May 5 (UNI) The Kolhapur division, comprising Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur districts, recorded 93.64 pass percentage in the Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results. The exams were conducted in February-March.
In the Kolhapur division, Kolhapur stood first in the pass percentage with 94.40, Sangli district stood second with 93.39 percentage while Satara district came third with 92.76 per cent students passing the exam.
HSC Kolhapur division chairman Rajesh Khirsagar, secretary Subhash Chaugule announced the results this afternoon at a press conference, which was held in divisional office at Rajendranagar, a suburb of the city.
A total of 1,13,889 students had registered for HSC examination, while 1,13,195 students appeared for the examination and 1,06,004 students passed with 93.64 per cent marks.
