Maha: Senior citizen dies in stray cow fight in Nashik

Nashik, June 24 (UNI) An old man lost his life in a fight between two stray cows in Kalwan taluka of the district.
According to police, the elderly man, identified Bhalchandra Raghunath Malpure (79), resident of Kalwan town, was walking on the road on Monday when the two stray cows lifted Malpure on their horns and trampled him on the road during their clash in front of Shri Cyber Cafe near Kalwan Merchants Cooperative Bank on Old Otur Road in Kalwan.
This incident was recorded on CCTV camera of the area.
The passers-by rushed to the spot, drove away the stray cows and tried to save Malpure, who was seriously injured in this attack. He was immediately admitted to the rural hospital.
However, Malpure succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Police have registered the case of accidental death in this regard.
