Mangesh Karad receives 'Marathwada Ratna' award for contribution to education

Thane, Sep 28 (UNI) MIT Art, Design and Technology (MIT-ADT) University Executive Chairman Prof Dr Mangesh Karad was conferred the 'Marathwada Ratna' award for his contribution to the education sector at a function held in Thane.
The award was presented by Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik during a Marathwada Liberation Struggle commemorative programme organised by the Marathwada Janvikas Parishad at Ram Ganesh Gadkari Rangayatan, Talav Pali, in Thane.
Thane MP Naresh Mhaske and MLA Sanjay Kelkar were among those present at the function. Parishad president Annasaheb Tekale and senior vice-president Nitin Kadam felicitated Prof Karad on the occasion.
